It was the same question I asked myself when I pulled this copy of Direct Current #67 out of my long box today and saw this...

Back in the 90s before information was just a simple keyboard search away and the Internet was at our finger tips, DC use to produce this solicitation magazine called Direct Current. Along with previews catalogue, I would poor through this magazine and swim in the knowledge of upcoming Batman comics.

Why am I sharing this - well this magazine, was the first time I learned that Batman was changing and it blew my mind. At this point I was already a fan of the Batman movies and animated series, but my decent into the comic world started here and I will always to this day smile at the memory of seeing this issue and getting news about Batman the old fashioned way.
