The British Academy of Film Awards nominations were announced this morning, and The Dark Knight has managed to receive 9 nominations for the following:

The overall nominations don't seem to acknowledge the film and it success regarding Christopher Nolan's direction, which is shocking. Most are of a technical nature, with Heath Ledger for supporting actor.
